Man O’ War Nigeria has reaffirmed its commitment to community policing, intelligence gathering, disaster management, rescue operations and youth leadership development as key priorities for national development.

The Kaduna State Commander of the organisation, Abubakar Tabimu Abubakar, stated this during the inauguration of newly elected executives of the association’s area command in Kaduna.

He said the inauguration of officers for the 23 local government areas followed approval from the national headquarters of the organisation.

Abubakar urged the newly inaugurated officers to discharge their responsibilities with dedication and professionalism to enhance service delivery and contribute to the wellbeing of residents across Kaduna State.

The Kaduna State Commissioner for Youth Development, Gloria Ibrahim, represented by Jerry Kwasau, commended the organisation’s initiatives, describing them as important efforts toward reducing unemployment and youth restiveness.

She urged the officers to support government policies and programmes aimed at promoting peace, youth empowerment and sustainable development in the state.

The General Officer Commanding One Division of the Nigerian Army, Major General Abubakar Sadiq Wasai, represented by Lieutenant Colonel Alkali, said the activities of Man O’ War would further promote discipline, responsible citizenship, youth development and community service.

Also speaking, the Emir of Zazzau, Ambassador Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, represented by the District Head of Kawo, Dan Makwayon Zazzau, Jibrin Muhammad, pledged the emirate’s continued partnership with the organisation.

He also called for increased public enlightenment on the activities of Man O’ War to enhance public understanding and participation across Kaduna State.

The organisation’s motto is Build the Man, Build the Community.”
