The House of Representatives has witnessed a minor reshuffle in its minority caucus following the defection of some members from opposition parties to the ruling APC.

In a letter read on the floor of the Green Chamber by the Speaker, Dr. Abbas Tajudeen, minority members unanimously endorsed Mr. Frederick Agbedi as the new Minority Leader of the House, replacing Mr. Kingsley Chinda of Rivers State.

The minority caucus also endorsed Alhaji Abdulsamad Dasuki of Sokoto State as the new Deputy Minority Leader, replacing Alhaji Ali Madaki of Kano State.

The statement further confirmed the nomination of Alhaji Mansur Manu Soro, from Bauchi state as the new Minority Whip to replace Alhaji Ali Iash JC from Gombe state.

Speaker of the House Dr Abbas Tajuddeen, congratulated the new Principal officers and urged them to work towards promoting the unity and progress of the house and the nation as a whole.
