The Accountant General of Gombe state, Alhaji Aminu Yuguda has announced his interest to join other contenders seeking to become the next governor of the state under the platform of the APC in the 2027 elections.
Yuguda made this known when he submitted his expression of interest form at the All Progressives Congress (APC) secretariat in Gombe.
He said his interest to seek for his party’s ticket to contest in the 2027 governorship election is borne out of the need to sustain Gov Inuwa Yahaya’s developmental trajectories.
Yuguda praised Gov. Inuwa Yahaya for his efforts in delivering good governance which has impacted on people’s lives and transformed the entire state.
He thanked his supporters for their solidarity and urge them to sustain the tempo to ensure victory.
In his response , the APC Chairman in the state, Mohammed Ndus , called on all aspirants to remain united and work together to secure victory for the party in the 2027 general elections.
He commended Aminu Yuguda for formally notifying the party of his intention and noted that the impressive turnout reflects the growing popularity of the APC and confidence in its leadership.
Ndus also pointed to ongoing developmental projects under Governor Yahaya, expressing optimism that more people would join the party in the near future.
