The Commandant of the Nigerian Defence Academy NDA, Major General Abdul Khalifa Ibrahim, has urged students to remain steadfast and committed in their pursuit of academic excellence.

He gave the charge during the graduation, speech, and prize-giving ceremony held at the Federal Government College, Malali, Kaduna.

The NDA Commandant who is an alumnus of the college expressed satisfaction with the conduct of students commended the management and staff of FGC Kaduna for maintaining standards.

In a remark, the President of FGC Kaduna old boy’s association, Comrade Seyi Gambo said the union will continue to play their role in uplifting the standard of the college through student-oriented initiatives.

Also speaking, the Chairman of the occasion and former governor of jigawa state, Senator Saminu Turaki urged students to ensure they excel academically towards becoming useful in the society.

Also Speaking the Director Principal of Federal Government College Kaduna, Prince Adewale O. Adeyanju called on parents to cooperate with school authority to ensure standard of learning is maintained.

Gift prizes and cash were given to graduating and best students including most performing teachers and non-teaching staff of the college.
