The Director General of the Kano State Private Health Institutions Management Agency (PHIMA), Professor Salisu Ahmed Ibrahim, has hosted a high-level meeting with professionals in the medical field to form a task force on monitoring private health facilities.

The crucial engagement, held at the PHIMA headquarters, focused on strengthening collaboration, enhancing standards of medical practice, and improving regulatory frameworks within private health institutions across the state.

Professor Salisu Ahmed Ibrahim expressed his deep appreciation for the commitment and expertise of the task force members, highlighting the vital role they play in promoting safe, high-quality, and accessible healthcare services in the private sector.

He reiterated PHIMA’s unwavering dedication to effective supervision, continuous capacity building, and strict compliance with professional medical standards.

The Task Force members, comprising seasoned medical professionals and regulatory experts, commended PHIMA’s efforts under the leadership of Professor Salisu and pledged their continued support toward achieving the Agency’s mission.

The meeting concluded with a joint commitment to work collaboratively to ensure that all private health facilities in Kano State operate within established health policies and deliver safe and efficient services to the people.
