The Speaker of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Yusuf Liman Dahiru, has unveiled a major health intervention initiative aimed at improving healthcare access for residents of Makera Constituency.
The Speaker is set to enroll 700 constituents into the Kaduna State Contributory Health Scheme (KADCHMA), a move expected to significantly boost healthcare coverage in the area.
The program is designed to provide constituents with access to quality and affordable medical services, ultimately enhancing their overall well-being.
In preparation for the rollout, the Chief of Staff to the Speaker, Hon. Bashir Adamu Nababa, held a strategic meeting with the Director-General of KADCHMA, Mallam Abubakar Hassan.

During the meeting, key modalities for implementation were discussed, and enrollment forms were handed over for distribution to selected beneficiaries across Makera Constituency.

Speaking on the initiative, Hon. Bashir Nababa emphasized the Speaker’s dedication to the welfare of his constituents, describing the health scheme as a testament to his ongoing commitment to public service.
Community leaders and local stakeholders are expected to play an active role in facilitating the smooth and transparent enrollment of participants in the coming weeks.
