Jigawa State House of Assembly Committee on Local Government Affairs has inspected projects executed by the Jahun Local Government Council from October 2024 to date.

Presenting the report of the inspection team, the member representing Kanya Constituency, Alhaji Ibrahim Hashim Kanya, said the committee had inspected the installation of solar street lights at Junior Science Secondary School Aujara, the rehabilitation of the Nasarawan Aujara solar water scheme, and the repair of the Aujara Divisional Police vehicle.

Other projects include new solar water scheme at Wambai Quarters, rehabilitation of Dizango water scheme along Kafin Hausa road, new solar water scheme at Kofar Fada Bayan kotu and Bakin Kasuwa, rehabilitation of Lambun Inna and Gandun Hakimi solar water schemes.

Alhaji Ibrahim Hashim Kanya commended the council Chairman for executing meaningful projects within short period.

Kanya therefore, urged the Chairman to provide source of water at Aujara Police station, install additional solar lights the Junior Science Secondary School Aujara and pay allowances to casual staff at Nasarawan Aujara water scheme.

Radio Nigeria reports that, the team include member representing Guri constituency, Alhaji Usman Abdullahi Tura Musari, councillors representing Jahun and Aujara wards as the Head of Works Department of the local government.
