Benjamin Hundeyin, the spokesperson for the Lagos State police command has reacted to Buju ‘BNXN’ saying he spat on a police officer during a confrontation captured on video earlier today August 17.

Buju ‘BNXN’ in the now-deleted tweet, had said he “spat in a police officer and it felt so good”.

The tweet quickly garnered a lot of attention and screenshots were taken by several Twitter users before Buju deleted it so the Police Spokesperson got wind of BNXN conversial tweet and said the ‘Outside’ crooner will surely answer for his action which can be deemed as Assault on a police officer. He also said the officers will be punished for their behavior.

He wrote ;

@ BNXN proudly tweeted that he ‘spat in [sic] a police officer’s face and it felt so good.’ He has since deleted the tweet. The police officers will be sanctioned for their misbehavior if established, while @BNXN will surely answer for his assault on a police officer.
