Jigawa State Government has opened tender for the construction of 4.3Km road network at Gagarawa Industrial Layout Phase 1.
In a statement made available to Radio Nigeria in Dutse by the Public Relations Officer, office of the Secretary to the Jigawa state government, Alhaji Ismaila Ibrahim Dutse explained that, the Chairman tender ministerial committee of the ministry who is also the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Muhammad Bello Dutse said the project is in line with the state government commitment to boost the transportation sector.
According to him, the bidding was in conformity with the state government policy on award of contracts.
Muhammad Bello therefore called on the successful contractor to ensure speedy completion of the project within the stipulated period contained in the contractual agreement.
In his remarks, the representative of the due process and project monitoring bureau, Engineer Aminu Lawan, said the process of selecting the contractor would be transparent, fair and just.
Responding on behalf of the bidders, the Project Manager, Engineer Safi Alhalabi described the exercise as hitch free and expressed satisfaction with the bid opening process.
