Kano State House of Assembly has received additional commissioner nominee in person of Dr Ali Musa Burum Burum.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Chief press secretary Kano State House of Assembly Malam Uba Abdullahi and made available to Radio Nigeria in Kano.
The statement explained that, the name of the additional nominee was sent in a letter signed by the state governor Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, to the Speaker Kano State House of Assembly Engineer Hamisu Ibrahim Chidari.
He however, noted that the correspondence was officially received and currently undergoing Legislative process.
It is expected that, Dr. Ali Musa Burum Burum would be screened next week along with other nominees .
Radio Nigeria reports that, the executive had earlier sent the names of eight nominees to the state house of assembly on Monday 15th August 2022 for screening and confirmation as commissioners to fill the vacumm created by the resignation of some members of the executive council to contest for 2023 general elections.
