In Zamfara State, former Governor Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar, Senator Marafa and other members of the Yari’s Camp have defected to Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
The state PDP Chairman Col Bala Mande, retired, announced this to Newsmen, shortly after the the state executive council meeting of the party in Gusau.
According to Bala Mande, “we have reached an agreement with Yari and his people, we are going to work together in PDP”
“The Date and venue for the formal reception of the former Governor will be made public soon” he added
Mande who expressed optimism of reclaiming the State said, the Party is now stronger and will work assiduously to salvage the state.
