Federal Government says it has repositioned seventy six internal road networks in forty six federal institutions across the country.

Minister of Work and Housing Mr. Babatunde Fashola stated this while handing over a two kilometre road at Usman Danfodiyo University in Sokoto state.

The minister who was represented by the Federal Controller of Works Sokoto state, said federal government is rehabilitating as well as constructing federal highways across the country to justify the trust reposed on them.

He said as part of the present administration’s change mantra, the government is gradually bridging the gap in infrastructural development not only on road networks but on federal institutions in the country stressing that the government is committed to providing dividend of democracy to the citizenry.

Speaking at the commissioning, the Vice Chancellor of Usman Danfodiyo University, Pro. Lawal Bilbis also represented by the deputy vice Chancellor academic expressed appreciation, adding that students are expressing renewed enthusiasm with regards to attending classes as a result of the maintenance of road networks in the university.
