Remain steadfast for effective Contribution to National Unity – DG NYSC charge Corps members

The Director General of the National Youth Service Corps Brig. General Shuaibu Ibrahim has charged 2021 Batch C stream 1 Corp members to remain steadfast for effective contribution to the promotion of national unity and integration.

The Director General disclosed this during the Swearing in of the 2021 Batch C stream 1 Corp member posted to Kano at the Permanent Orientation Camp Kusalla, Karaye local Government Area of Kano state.

Brig. General Shuaibu Ibrahim who was Represented by the state coordinator of the Scheme in Kano, Hajiya Aisha Tata Mohammad enjoined the Corp members to always ponder over the significance of the oath and be guided by its intention.

He cautioned the Corp members against Cultism,drug abuse and other social vices.

“It so no longer news that white collar jobs are hard to come by, hence the empowerment for self- employment and wealth creation has been a major area of focus for the Scheme since 2012”

The NYSC boss charged them to comply with the Covid 19 prevention protocols throughout the Orientation period.

In a remark the State Coordinator represented by the Camp Director Alhaji Bala Dabo explained that at the close of registration at the camp, a total 1632 Corp members were registered in the camp.

He Applauded the efforts of Kano state Government for the constant support in ensuring that the Scheme achieved maximum Success.

The Swearing in ceremony was attended by head of Security Agencies and other stakeholders.
