Kaduna State government says the State Investment Summit, KADINVEST has served as a veritable platforms to showcasing it investment potentials to the Internal and local business community with a view to attract more investors.
Deputy Governor of the State, Dr Hadiza Balarabe stated this while delivering her opening remark during the commencement of this year’s KADINVEST 6.0 held in Kaduna.
Dr Balarabe noted that, Kaduna State government had attracted over 2.6 billion dollars worth of investment since the commencement of Kadinvest in 2016.
Dr Hadiza Balarabe explained that, the government had also initiated reforms, enacted laws and strengthen Institutions to keep it commitment by creating a favourable business client and offer protection for private investment.
The Deputy Governor expressed believe that, private investment hold the key to solving the big challenges of job creation, rising government revenue and driving economic growth on the sustainable basis.
According to her, the present administration was committed to the transformation of Kaduna State into a private sector driving economy with vast opportunities and share prosperity for all it citizens.
She reemphasized that, there is no better time for investors to invest in the State than now, stressing that conducive atmosphere had been created for the investors.
The theme for the Kadinvest 6.0 is ” Toward a Sustainable Knowledge Based Economy”, Both foreign and private investors, traditional rulers, Ministers and other important dignitaries are attending the event.
