Leaders at all level of governance have been advised to embark on projects that have direct bearing on the lives of its people that elected them in to office.
The African Democratic Congress ADC Gubernatorial Candidate in Niger state, Dr Mohammed Isa Kpautagi who gave the advice in an interview with Radio Nigeria, maintained that executing peoples oriented projects are the best way to go, because it will impact positively to their lives.
Dr Mohammed Kpautagi explained that it is not right for the leaders to be carrying out projects without regular consultation with their subjects to have a first hand information on their priorities, especially some state Governors who embarked in gigantic projects allegedly for their selfish ambition.
On the problem of persistent water scarcity in Minna the Niger state capital, the ADC Gubernatorial Candidate said there are many ways through which the current administration of Governor Mohammed Umar Bago, would have followed to address such problems, but wondered why the problem still persist.
According to him, the twenty twenty seven General election is one of the greatest opportunity for the electorates to use their vote wisely to elect competence, accountable, reliable, credible and matured candidates with track record of achievements that have the technical know-how and pedigree to pilot the affairs of the state in a more peaceful, transparent and democratic manner.
Dr Mohammed Kpautagi however cautioned both politicians and the electorates to desist from engaging in politics of do or i die affairs, but to play an issue based politics devoid of bitterness and in a civilized way capable of transforming Niger state to greater heights
He appealed to the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC, to ensure that the votes of every Nigerian counts in the 2027 General elections, by conducting free, fair, credible and an acceptable elections, while on its part the ADC members in Niger state will jealously guard their votes to ensure that only the genuine winner emerge from the ballots.
