The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has reaffirmed that the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise will end, Sunday, July 26, urging eligible Nigerians to register or update their voter information before the deadline.

In a post on its official X handle, the commission described the exercise as a crucial step for Nigerians who intend to participate in the 2027 general election.

INEC said those yet to register still have the opportunity to complete the process through its Continuous Voter Registration portal or by visiting any of its state and local government offices before the close of the exercise.

”Your future won’t wait.
Neither should you”

”The Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise ends Sunday, 26 July 2026”

The Commission encouraged eligible citizens to take advantage of the final day, stressing that registering to vote is essential for making their voices count in future elections.
