Former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Boss Mustapha, has described the overwhelming votes secured by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu during the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primaries nationwide as a well-deserved reward for the administration’s performance.
Boss Mustapha said the Ten million, nine hundred and ninety-nine thousand, one hundred and sixty-two votes garnered by President Tinubu across the country while his sole opponent, Stanley Osifo, polled sixteen thousand five hundred and three votes reflected growing public confidence in the leadership and policies of the current administration.
According to the former SGF, the outcome of the APC presidential primaries nationwide demonstrates that Nigerians have continued to appreciate the achievements recorded under President Tinubu’s leadership in key sectors, including infrastructure development, power supply, healthcare delivery, security, economic reforms, road construction, and other critical areas aimed at improving the lives of citizens.
He noted that the administration’s reforms and developmental projects have strengthened public trust and positioned the APC for greater success in future elections.
Boss Mustapha also called on Nigerians to continue supporting President Tinubu to enable him sustain efforts at delivering more dividends of democracy to the people.
He expressed optimism that the APC would emerge stronger and more united ahead of future electoral contests, describing the outcome of the primaries as a clear endorsement of President Tinubu’s vision and leadership for national development.
Mustapha further acknowledged the participation of other aspirants who contested alongside President Tinubu in the APC presidential primaries, commending them for contributing to the democratic process within the party.
