The Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, says the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will bring greater dividends of democracy to Nigerians, including improved economic growth, security, infrastructure, and job creation.
Governor Yusuf made the remark while addressing delegates during the presidential primary election held at Diso Ward in Gwale Local Government Area of the state.
He said Nigeria and Kano State would benefit from expanded development in key sectors such as education, agriculture, health, rural development, and human capital development if President Tinubu is re-elected.
The governor described the President as “tested and trusted,” expressing confidence that he would deliver more democratic benefits in a second term in office.
He added that his ward, Gwale Local Government Area, and Diso Ward were fully in support of the President’s candidature and had resolved to mobilize support ahead of the 2027 general elections.
