Parents have been urged to teach their children good morals to enable them become good leaders in the future.

Imam Tajudeen Alashela made the call in his Juma’at sermon at Alashela Community Mosque in Ilorin, Kwara state.

He said the way children dressed and speak does not give parents good name.

According to him, teaching morals is the responsibility of every parent, adding that such should not be left to the school teachers alone.

Imam Tajudeen advised parents to monitor their children and have interest in the kind of friends they move with to prevent them from joining bad gang.
