Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), has recommended the Kebbi State Pilgrims Welfare Agency following an inspection of facilities put in place for the smooth conduct of Hajj operations in the state.
The leader of the delegation,Engr.Abba Shuaibu Babagana made this known when he led the team for an official visit to kebbi State
During the visit, officials of the NCAA inspected several key facilities at the Kauran Gwandu Hajj Camp to assess the level of preparedness ahead of the airlift of intending pilgrims.
The inspectors carefully examined the ICT Center, where digital documentation and pilgrims’ data management are handled.
They also inspected the Conference Hall, which serves as a venue for meetings, the Screening Hall, where medical checks, documentation verification, and other screening procedures are conducted to ensure that all intending pilgrims meet the required standards before travel.
The NCAA officials also toured the general environment of the Hajj camp, expressing satisfaction with the level of cleanliness, organization, and facilities available to support pilgrims during the preparation stage of the pilgrimage.
According to the officials, the infrastructure and arrangements put in place by the Kebbi State Pilgrims Welfare Agency demonstrate the Governor’s led administration’s commitment to ensuring a smooth, safe, and well-organized Hajj operation.
The visit forms part of routine assessments carried out by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority to ensure that states comply with aviation and operational standards required for the successful airlift of pilgrims to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
