Wife of the Kaduna State Governor, Hajiya Hafsat Uba Sani, has called on citizens to continue praying for sustained peace and unity in Kaduna State and Nigeria as a whole.

She made the call while distributing food items and clothing to orphans, less privileged children, and teachers of Madarasatul Ummul Muminina Hafsat Islamic Academy, Hayin Na’iya, Kaduna.

Hajiya Hafsat Uba Sani said she was overwhelmed with joy to see the happiness on the faces of the orphans and other beneficiaries, noting that their smiles were a source of encouragement to do more.

She emphasized that supporting vulnerable members of society remains a priority, especially during festive periods.

She urged the beneficiaries and the general public to always pray for peace, stability, and unity in Kaduna State and Nigeria at large, stressing that development can only thrive in an atmosphere of harmony.

The head of the school, Malam Hassan Abubakar, expressed gratitude to the First Lady for her continued generosity.

He noted that this is the third consecutive year she has supported the orphans, less privileged, and teachers of the school with food items, clothing, and other incentives.

He prayed for Almighty Allah to reward her abundantly, grant her good health, and guide the state government in the successful administration of Kaduna State.

Speaking on behalf of the students, Fatima Abdullahi thanked the First Lady for her kindness and described her as a mother to the orphans and less privileged children.

Also speaking, one of the orphan beneficiaries, Rabiatu Mohammed, expressed appreciation for the gesture and prayed that Allah bless and protect the First Lady for remembering them.

Beneficiaries received food items as well as clothing materials to enable them complete the remaining days of the Ramadan fast and celebrate Sallah in comfort and dignity.
