Nigerians have been encouraged to remain prayerful despite the economic and security challenges facing the nation.

The renowned South African evangelist, Daniel Du Toit, gave the encouragement while addressing the media during the opening of the Kaduna Jesus Crusade.

“God is ready to turn everything around for His glory when His people remain committed to Him.”

Mr. Du Toit urged Nigerians to be strong in the Lord, noting that “the prayer of a righteous man avails much.”

Describing Nigeria as “God’s nation,” the clergyman emphasized that the plans of the enemy would not succeed, as God sees and hears the cry of His people.

He encouraged Nigerians to remain hopeful in God, adding that great prosperity would soon envelope the country for the good of all.

“In times like these, prayer is not an option but a necessity. When a nation lifts its eyes to God, hope is restored and destinies are rebuilt.”

On his part, the secretary of the crusade, Reverend Ezra Inusa Chitang, noted that the crusade is targeted at strengthening the spiritual lives of the people and encourage them to trust God at all times.

He further identified divine visitation, promoting unity and spiritual transformation, as well as peaceful coexistence as key areas the crusade seeks to achieve.
