The Executive Chairman of Birnin Kudu Local Government, Bldr. Dr. Muhammad Uba, has commended the Jigawa State Governor, Malam Umar Namadi, for approving new road construction projects across the state, including in Birnin Kudu.
He said the intervention is in line with the Governor’s 12-point agenda, particularly in boosting infrastructure development.
According to him, Birnin Kudu will benefit from 113 kilometres of roads, including feeder routes and link roads connecting communities to other parts of the state.
Dr. Uba described the project as a major step toward improving mobility, economic activities and access to essential services for residents.
He expressed confidence that the road projects would deliver long-term benefits and accelerate development across the local government.
The Chairman prayed for continued peace and progress in Birnin Kudu and pledged full collaboration with the state government to ensure citizens enjoy the dividends of democracy.
