The Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN), Kaduna National Station, has expressed readiness to partner with traditional institutions to promote government policies and programmes.
The Zonal Director of the Kaduna National Station, Haruna Idris, made this known when he led members of the management team on a courtesy visit to the Emir of Zazzau, Malam Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, at his palace in Zaria.

Haruna Idris described the traditional institution as a pillar of unity and a platform for uplifting the people, stressing that its role in national cohesion cannot be overemphasized.
He explained that the visit was also to join citizens in congratulating the Emir on his five years on the throne.
According to the Zonal Director, the Emir’s five years of leadership have brought tremendous achievements and development to the Zazzau Emirate, Kaduna State, and the nation at large, citing his quality leadership and commitment to peace.
He further expressed confidence that the Emir would continue to support the Kaduna National Station in sustaining its integrity and advancing nation-building.
In his remarks, the Emir of Zazzau, Malam Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, congratulated Haruna Idris on his appointment, describing it as timely and well-deserved, given his wealth of experience and professionalism.
The Emir, however, expressed concern over the challenges facing Radio Kaduna, particularly poor funding and irregular power supply, which he noted were crippling its operations.
He urged the management of the station to devise strategies and explore modalities for reaching out to stakeholders who could assist in reviving the station to effectively educate and enlighten the public.
