Federal Government has called on the north central development commission to give more priority to security, youths empowerment, job creation and infrastructural development in the region.
Minister of Regional Development Engr Abubakar Momoh made the call at the two days policy review workshop held in lafia, the nasarawa state capital.

The two days policy review workshop for the north central development commission in partnership with spring was aimed at reviewing and understanding the socio economic challenges and opportunities in the region with a view to address them.
Minister of Regional Development Engr Abubakar Momoh said the establishment of the north central development commission is a shared commitment and vision of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration to reposition the country.
The minister challenged the management of the commission to work in synergy among them and to carry every region along in the discharge of their assigned responsibilities for the overall growth and development of the sub region.
Declaring the two days review workshop open, Governor Abdullahi Sule represented by his Deputy, Dr. Emmanuel Akabe re-iterated the commitment of the state government to continue to work in synergy with the NCDC to deliver it’s mandate.
Managing Director of the north central development commission Dr. Cyril Tsenyil explained that the commission since inception has engaged in series of activities and engagements to ensure that they succeed inline with the mandate of its establishment.
On her part, the deputy team leader of spring Princillia Ankut noted that her Agency has continue to engaged and strengthen dialogue and reconciliation on peace and security as well as societal reposes to social challenges that divide the citizens in the country.
