The Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly,Alhaji Jibril Ismail Falgore, has extended warm felicitations to Nigerians as the country marks its 65th Independence Anniversary.
In a statement issued by his spokesperson, Kamaluddeen Sani Shawai, the Speaker described Nigeria’s post-independence journey as one filled with challenges and opportunities, noting that with vision and strategic planning, a brighter future is within reach.

“Here in Kano State, the House of Assembly remains resolute in its legislative and oversight responsibilities, with zero tolerance for corruption and a firm commitment to improving the lives of our people.”
On behalf of the Kano State House of Assembly, Falgore extended his felicitations to Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, the people of Kano State, and all Nigerians.
“May this anniversary inspire us all to rise above divisions and work together for a prosperous nation where justice, equity, and development prevail. Happy 65th Independence Anniversary, Nigeria,”
