Jigawa state government has assured people of Maigatari local government area that Maigatari market will become one of the commercial centers in Nigeria.
Governor Umar Namadi gave the assurance while speaking during the citizens engagement program held in Maigatari.
According to him, the state is undertaking series of works aimed at boosting business activities and providing job opportunities for the teeming unemployed youths.
The Governor inspected the ongoing construction of Multi purpose Hall by the chairman of Maigatari local Government council Alhaji Muhammad Na’Allah.
He commended the Chairman of Maigatari local government for execution of capital projects.
Namadi also commissioned three blocks of primary school constructed by the member Representing Gumel, Maigatari,Suletankarkar and Gagarawa federal constituency, Nazifi Sani in Maigatari town.
He further expressed gratitude to the people of Maigatari for the hospitality accorded him and his team during the visit.
Radio Nigeria reports that, the Governor Malam Umar Namadi welcome over two thousand supporters of the opposition parties to All progressives congress APC in the area.
