The Sarkin Zazzau Suleja in Niger state, Malam Muhammad Auwal Ibrahim has been described as a distinguished elder statesman, a visionary leader and custodian of cultural heritage, whose life has been defined by service to Allah, humanity and the development.
Secretary to the Niger state Government, Alh.Abubakar Usman stated this while rejoicing with the Emir of Suleja and first elected Governor of Niger state on his 84th birthday.
This was made in a statement issued to Newsmen by his Information Officer Lawal Tanko in Minna.
Alhaji Abubakar Usman noted that the contribution of Malam Auwal Ibrahim as the first civilian Governor of Niger State laid the foundation for good governance, democratic values and institutional growth in the State.
He maintained that his reign as Sarkin Zazzau has continued to foster peace, harmony and cultural pride among the people of Suleja Emirate and beyond.
Alhaji Abubakar prayed for long life, good health and wisdom for the revered monarch.
The Secretary to the state government stressed that his legacy of selfless service and dedication to the welfare of his people remained a shining example for leaders at all levels.
“On behalf of the Government and people of Niger State, I heartily congratulate His Royal Highness, Malam Muhammad Awal Ibrahim, the Sarkin Zazzau Suleja, on the occasion of his 84th birthday. May Almighty Allah (SWT) continue to bless his life with strength and peace, and may his reign continue to bring unity and prosperity to Niger State and Nigeria as a whole,” the SSG said.
