The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Katsina State Council, has joined other organizations and well-wishers in congratulating the District Head of Ketare, Kanwan Katsina, Alhaji Usman Bello Kankara, on his 68th birthday.

In a goodwill message, the Council Chairman, Comrade Hassan Tukur Dan Ali, prayed for long life, good health, and continued wisdom for the respected traditional leader.

Similarly, the General Manager of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), Katsina, Malam Muhammad Lawan Baba, described the Kanwan Katsina as a patriotic and distinguished leader, widely regarded as a builder of humanity.

Also, the General Manager of Katsina State Radio, Alhaji Attahiru Lawal Bakori, extolled the sterling qualities of the royal father, noting his unwavering commitment to the service of humanity.

In the same vein, the Ketare Youth Development Association (KEDAMA) felicitated with the District Head, describing him as a role model, mentor, and father whose generosity and concern for the younger generation remain unmatched.

Other groups that sent goodwill messages include the Association of Alumni of the National Institute (AANI), graduates of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria, Class of 1981, Customs officers of the 1982 intake, and the Government Secondary School Malumfashi Old Boys Association (1970–1974 set).

They unanimously described the Kanwan Katsina as a bridge builder whose life of service, humility, and dedication to community development continues to inspire people within and beyond Katsina State.
