Director General of the Kaduna State Rural Water and Sanitation Agency RUWASA, Engineer Mubarak Shehu Ladan says the state Government gives priority to rural transformation in the areas of adequate Water supply and disease prevention.
The Director General stated this while receiving Certificate of integrity Stewardship from a Civil Society Organization known as Advocacy for Peace and Value Reorientation in Kaduna.

Engineer Mubarak Shehu Ladan said the administration of Governor Uba Sani through RUWASA has executed significant projects of global standard especially in Primary Schools and Health centers which attracted recommendations from various quotas.
“In Kaduna, we have been doing a lot in our own modest means. We have had a lot of successes in the last couple of years. And as I mentioned earlier, this is as a result of the opportunity and the support that we are receiving from His Excellency, because no matter how prepared you are, or no matter the amount of planning that you do, if there is no political will at the top, nothing can be achieved.”he said.
Engineer Mubarak Shehu Ladan noted that the agency deals directly with the lives of the people and cuts across all other sectors particularly education and health.
Earlier, the Executive Director of Advocacy for Peace and value reorientation Comrade Abubakar Oyibo commended RUWASA for the huge successes achieved and appealed to the Director General to sustain the efforts as a living example for others to follow.
He maintained that objectives of the organization includes encouraging establishments that are doing their best in providing dividends of Democracy to the people.
“One of our missions is to encourage Ministries, Departments and Agencies, that are doing their best to see that dividends of democracy is actually given to our dear people and RUWASA, under the leadership of the Director General, Engineer Mubarak Shehu Ladan, is one of those we found to be responsible to be blessed. this area of duty.”
In an address, Director Public Works and Infrastructure,Engineer Ali Muhammad Tukur described the presentation as a well-deserved recognition to the Agency and by extension, the state Government
“The DG has made great work and an impact to RUWASA, We are really proud of him and may this mark the beginning of a bigger and greater things to come.”According to him.
He expressed satisfaction with Governor Uba Sani’s commitment in the areas of inclusive development and rural transformation.
