The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Zamfara State has commended security agencies other stakeholders for their dedication towards ensuring the peaceful conduct of the just-concluded bye-election in Kaura Namoda South constituency.
State Chairman of the party, Alhaji Tukur Danfulani, made the commendation while briefing newsmen in Gusau.
He noted that, the professionalism exhibited by the security operatives had guaranteeing a violence-free exercise.
Danfulani also expressed appreciation to the electorate in Kaura Namoda, particularly those who voted for the APC, describing their conduct as peaceful and exemplary.
He prayed that, the victory of the party’s candidate in the bye-election would bring development and blessings to the constituency.
The chairman further applauded journalists for their courage in providing on the spot reports from various polling units, saying that, their efforts contributed to the transparency of the process.
According to him, the party’s success in the bye-election clearly demonstrates the confidence people across Zamfara still have in the APC, despite it not being the power in the state.
While expressing gratitude to God for the victory, Danfulani acknowledged the roles played by party leaders, including former Governor Abdul’aziz Yari Abubakar, Minister of State for Defence, Dr. Bello Mohammed Matawalle, and other stakeholders for their unwavering support to the APC.
The party chairman also acknowledged the tireless contributions of APC stakeholders who mobilized across the six wards of Kaura Namoda South perticulerly notable figures such as Senator Tijjani Yahaya Kaura, Abdulmalik Zubairu, Alhaji Lawal Gabdon Kaura, Senator Sahabi Yau Kaura, Sulaiman Abubakar Gummi, Alhaji Yazid Shehu Danfulani, Mukhtar Gusau, and others for their resilience, courage, and commitment that led to the party’s victory.
The Zamfara State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Tukur Umar Danfulani, has expressed strong optimism that the party will reclaim power in the state and emerge victorious in the 2027 general elections.
Danfulani stressed that, Zamfara is an APC state, and by Allah’s will, they will reclaim it fully in 2027 general election
Reflecting on the party’s past challenges, he admitted that, the mistakes made during the 2023 elections had been studied and addressed.
Alhaji Danfulani stressed that, the APC remains grateful to all its members for their sacrifices, unity, and determination to secure success at the polls without any breakdown of law and order.
The APC chairman concluded by reiterating the party’s determination to consolidate its gains and position itself as the preferred choice of Zamfara people ahead of 2027.
