The Speaker of the Kaduna State House of Assembly and Chairman of the APC By-election Campaign Committee, Rt. Hon. Yusuf Dahiru Liman, described the outcome of the 2025 by-election in the State as a resounding success for the party.
In a statement released in Kaduna, Yusuf Dahiru Liman attributed the victory to the leadership style of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State, and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dr. Abbas Tajuddeen, who he said provided unwavering support throughout the campaign.
Rt. Hon. Liman explained that the results reaffirm the people’s confidence in the inclusive governance and developmental strides of Governor Uba Sani. According to him, the victory reflects the appreciation of citizens for quality representation, relative peace, and ongoing progress in the state.
He congratulated the elected candidates, Hon. Fidelix Bagudu of Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency, Hon. Isa Haruna of Zaria Kewaye State Constituency, and Hon. Sani Dahiru Umar of Basawa Constituency.
The speaker urged them to work closely with the state government to deliver dividends of democracy to their constituents.
The Kaduna Speaker also commended the campaign team and party supporters for their dedication and assured the public that the APC remains committed to implementing impactful policies and programs for the benefit of the people.
