A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Taraba State, Alhaji Garba Garba Chede, has expressed delight over the steps taken to reconcile members of the party in Bauchi State.

Alhaji Garba Chede, who is also the Liaison Officer of the House of Representatives to the National Secretariat of the party, noted that such reconciliation is necessary to ensure unity among all members.

He suggested that the committee expands its mandate to cover other states of the federation with similar challenges to consolidate the party’s strength for success in future elections.

Alhaji Garba Chede was however worried over protests by retired workers on Monday to show grievances against delayed payment of their entitlements approved by President Bola Tinubu.

The House of Representatives liaison officer expressed the hope that relevant authorities particularly ministry of finance would release required funds for the senior citizens as directed by the presidency
