The Directors General of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria FRCN, Nigerian Television Authority NTA, and News Agency of Nigeria NAN have paid a condolence visit to the former First Lady, Hajiya Aisha Buhari, over the passing of her husband, former President Muhammadu Buhari.

The delegation was introduced by the Zonal Director of Radio Nigeria, Kaduna Zonal Station, Mallam Buhari Auwalu, who described the death of the former President as a monumental loss not only to his immediate family and Nigeria, but to the entire world.

During the visit, the Director of Engineering Services, Radio Nigeria Headquarters, Engr. Sanda Askira, offered prayers for the repose of the late President’s soul, asking Almighty Allah to forgive his shortcomings and grant him Aljannatul Firdaus.

Responding on behalf of the family of the late President, the Dujiman Adamawa, Alhaji Musa Yola, expressed appreciation to the Directors General and their entourage for the visit.

He noted that the show of solidarity and sympathy was a great source of comfort to the grieving family.

The delegation also paid a condolence visit to the late President’s uncle, Alhaji Mamman Daura.

The Directors General noted that former President Buhari would be remembered for his integrity, patriotism, and contributions to Nigeria’s political and socio-economic development.

They also prayed for strength and comfort for the entire Buhari family and urged Nigerians to uphold the values the late leader stood for.

Responding, Mamman Daura expressed deep appreciation for the visit, describing it as a gesture of true friendship and national unity.

He thanked the media executives for their kind words, prayers, and support to the Buhari family during this period of mourning.
