Governor Umar Namadi of Jigawa State has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of former President Muhammadu Buhari.

In a statement in Dutse by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Hamisu Mohammed Gumel, Malam Namadi described the late Muhammadu Buhari as a revered leader who served Nigeria with dedication, integrity, and discipline.

Malam Umar Namadi extend heartfelt condolences on behalf of the government and people of Jigawa State to the immediate family of the late President, praying for strength, comfort, and the fortitude to bear this profound loss.

He also extended condolences to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the government and people of Katsina State, and the entire nation.

According to him, the late President Buhari will be remembered for his unalloyed commitment to the unity and progress of Nigeria, his principled leadership, and his lifelong dedication to public service.

Namadi added that, Jigawa State joins the nation in mourning a statesman and praying to Almighty Allah to forgive his shortcomings and grant him eternal rest in Jannah.
