Bearly two weeks to Ed-el Kabir celebration for the Muslims, prices of Rams in markets across Kebbi State are affordable.
Radio Nigeria correspondent in Kebbi State who went round some weekly markets reports that, prices of Rams, sheep’s and goats are affordable to for sacrifice by the Muslims ummah.

He reports that, in weekly market at Ambursa, Argungu and Dodoro markets, price of rams start from 100,000:00 to 450,000;00 naira, a sheep cost from 70,000;00 to 250,000;00 naira while the price of goat start from 50,000;00 to 250,000;00 naira.
Some of the animal sellers, Malam Musa Ambursa and Malam Shehu Adamu, said this time around the prices of animals are less compared to last year.
They said, by next week when the Ed-el Kabir draw nearer and civil servant receive salary, the prices of animals will rise up and therefore advised those that have money to buy their animals now not until it’s late.
Some buyers confirmed to Radio Nigeria that, the prices of animals are affordable and hoped to remain same even if salary is being paid to civil servants of both federal and state.
