Taraba State Government has announced the constitution of the three-man team for the 2025 pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia, with Alhaji Sulaiman Sambo (the Kpanti Zing) as Amirul Hajj.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Gebon Timothy Kataps and issued to journalists in Jalingo on Thursday 8 May 2025.
The statement says Governor Agbu Kefas has also approved the appointment of HRH. Abubakar Mahmud Adam,the Kur Jibu to serve as a Member and Secretary of the Amirul Hajj team, as well as HRH. Yakubu Tafida, The Chief of Jibu also as a member.
Governor Kefas who wished the team a successful pilgrimage, appealed to them and other intending pilgrims to pray for the peaceful coexistence and development of the state.
