Katsina State Government has finalized arrangements to receive President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on a one-day working visit to the state.
The State Commissioner for Information, Alhaji Salisu Bala Zango, disclosed this during a press briefing held at the Government House, Katsina, ahead of the presidential visit.
Bala Zango said the visit will be the President’s first to the state since his election into office and is expected to have a meaningful impact on the state and its people.
He added that the President is expected to commission two major projects executed by Governor Dikko Umar Radda: the newly constructed eastern bypass dual carriageway, which starts from Dutsinma Road, connects to Kano Road, and links to Kaita Road.
Similarly, the president will also commission the multi billion naira agricultural mechanisation center built and equipped by the state government in order to boost agricultural activities in the state.
According to him, the state governor will also discuss security issues affecting the state especially in eleven local government areas that on the front line of the issues in order to strategies more effort to end the menace.
He also appealed to the good people of the state to come out en masse to welcome President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and urged them to remain calm and maintain law and order.
