The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Zamfara State Command, has deployed 415 personnel across the state to ensure adequate security throughout the Easter celebrations.
This was disclosed in a statement issued by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, ASCII Umar Mohammad M., said the personnel were stationed at various worship centres and other strategic places across the 14 local government areas of the state to guarantee maximum security and a peaceful celebration.
According to the statement, the State Commandant, Sani Mustapha, reaffirmed the NSCDC’s commitment under the leadership of the Commandant General, Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi, to addressing security challenges across the country.
He assured that the Zamfara Command is fully prepared to discharge its duties effectively and contribute to the maintenance of peace and order in the state.
