The governments of Northern States of Nigeria have been urged to ensure the survival of Radio Nigeria (FRCN) Kaduna as a lasting legacy of the late Premier of the defunct Northern Region, Alhaji Sir Ahmadu Bello, Sardauna of Sokoto.

Listeners of the station made this appeal in separate comments while reacting to the 63rd anniversary of the organization, established in March 1962.

They expressed appreciation for the commendable role FRCN Kaduna has played over the years despite operational challenges, which they urged relevant authorities to address.

Senator Salisu Musa Matori, Alhaji Umar Dembo, Alhaji Umar Iya Gulak, Alhaji Garba Baba and Alhaji Muhammad Damak Abubakar while congratulating the FRCN Kaduna for outstanding performance, stressed the need for the Federal Government to redeem promises made about its revival.

Public relations officer of the All Farmers Association of Nigeria, Alhaji Muhammad Magaji was particularly delighted over promotion of agricultural activities by the station as well as peace, unity and progress of the country which should be sustained to achieve its mandate.
