Jigawa State Government has expressed delight over the significant achievements recorded in the implementation of the present administration’s 12-point agenda.
Governor Umar Namadi stated this during the citizens’ engagement program held in the Birnin Kudu Local Government Area of the state.
He explained that the program, aimed at bringing the government closer to the people, will also ensure that policies and projects align with the yearnings and aspirations of the citizens.
Namadi commended the people of the area for appreciating the projects executed by the state government and pledged to do more.
The Governor also assured that, he will study the document presented by Professor Abubakar Sani Birnin Kudu which contains the demands of the people of Birnin Kudu local government area.

Also speaking, the state Commissioner for works and transport, Engineer Gambo S Mallam said, the state government has awarded a contract for the reconstruction of the Birnin Kudu–Sundimina–Kiyawa road at the cost of 11.5 billion naira.
According to him, the work will include asphalt overlaying, construction of bridges and culverts, side drainage, and other necessary improvements.
Engineer Gambo pointed out that, the state government is currently executing several road projects in the Birnin Kudu local government area.
Radio Nigeria reports that, the reconstruction of the Birnin Kudu–Sundimina–Kiyawa road was officially flagged off by the first civilian governor of the state, Alhaji Ali Sa’ad Birnin Kudu.
