Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency (KSPWA) has officially launched its 2025 Hajj education and enlightenment program to prepare intending pilgrims for a smooth and successful pilgrimage.
Speaking at the event, the Executive Chairman of KSPWA, Malam Salihu Abubakar, emphasized the significance of the training in equipping pilgrims with essential knowledge of Hajj rituals, Islamic principles, and potential challenges.
He also noted that the program would familiarize participants with any new regulations introduced by the relevant authorities.
Malam Abubakar urged intending pilgrims to complete their Hajj fare payments before the deadline set by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON).
He further disclosed that Kaduna State had been allocated over 6,000 Hajj slots for 2025.

The Director of Operations at KSPWA, Alhaji Abubakar Usman Yusuf, similarly, stated that the enlightenment sessions would be held on weekends across all 23 local government areas of the state.
He stressed that attendance is mandatory for all intending pilgrims.
Also speaking at the event, the Chairman of Sabon Gari Local Government, Malam Jamilu Abubakar Albani, represented by his Vice Chairman, Alhaji Abdulkareem Kamilu, urged pilgrims to adhere to all laws and regulations in both Nigeria and Saudi Arabia.
He emphasized that proper conduct and compliance with Islamic teachings would ensure a spiritually accepted Hajj, leading to Aljannah (paradise).
In a statement, the gency’s Public Relations Officer, Yunusa Mohammed Abdullahi, highlights that the inauguration ceremony was held at the Pilgrims’ Enlightenment Centre in Dogarawa, Sabon Gari LGA and appreciated the Massive turn out.
