Association of Pharmaceutical Chemists in collaboration with the National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency-NDLEA, have burnt expired drugs worth over eight hundred thousand naira in Gumel local government area of Jigawa state.

Speaking at the burning site, the council chairman, Alhaji Lawan Ya’u Abdullahi assured of his council’s determination towards safeguarding the health of the people.

Ya’u therefore stressed the need for all hands to be on deck for a healthy generation.

Also speaking, the Director Personnel Management, Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammad Nafara called on other associations to emulate so as to sanitize their businesses.

Earlier, the chairman local government chapter of the Association, Malam Bashari Dahiru Gagarawa commended the efforts of both state and the local government towards improving the healthcare of the people.
