Governor Malam Umar Namadi of Jigawa State has received the leadership of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) at the Government House in Dutse.

The delegation, led by the National President and Chairman of the Council, Dr. Ike Neliaku, visited to offer condolences following the recent passing of the Governor’s mother, Hajiya Maryam Namadi, and his son, Abdulwahab Umar Namadi.

Dr. Ike Neliaku conveyed heartfelt sympathies on behalf of the NIPR and its members nationwide, acknowledging the profound loss experienced by the Governor and his family.

He emphasized their support and solidarity during this moment of grief and offered prayers for the repose of the departed souls.

In his response, Governor Umar Namadi expressed gratitude to Dr. Neliaku and the NIPR leadership for their show of concern and solidarity.

He stated that he would remain eternally grateful for such acts of compassion by the institute’s leadership.

Radio Nigeria reports that the NIPR leadership was hosted to a dinner at the Banquet Hall of the Government House.

The NIPR leadership arrived in Dutse in preparation for the conferment of investiture on Governor Namadi as a patron of the institute.
