Former Chairman Kaduna State Councillors forum Alhaji Abdulrashid Yaron Kirki Kajuru, has expressed satisfaction with the peaceful conduct of this year’s Sallah celebration across Kaduna State.
He made the statement during an interview with Radio Nigeria shortly after the traditional Durbar known as Hawan Daushe led by the Emir of Kajuru in Kajuru town.
Alhaji Abdulrashid Yaron Kirki, who is occupying the traditional title of Sardaunan Kajuru, said despite the current hardship people are going through, Muslims have demonstrated the sense of sacrifices and total submission to the will of Allah and conduct their religious obligation peacefully.
The Sardauna Kajuru, stressed that he was in Kajuru to confirm his loyalty to the Kajuru Emirate and support the Emir in promoting the annual tradition of Hawan Daushe as well as share love and joy with people from different backgrounds in the area.
He appealed to Muslims in the Emirate to use the occasion to seek Allah’s intervention in the current challenges they are facing through sacrifices and by assisting the less privileged in society, enabling them to share similar joy with others.
Alhaji Abdulrashid Yaron Kirki, however, appreciated Senator representing Kaduna Central Sen. Muhammad Lawal for supporting many people with Rams in Kajuru and some parts of Kaduna State during the Sallah celebration and called on others to emulate.
