Minister of Defence, His Excellency Muhammad Badaru Abubakar CON, mni, has participated in the Eid Kabir congregational prayer at Babura Gabas Eid ground in Babura town, Jigawa State, on Sunday, 16th June 2024.
A statement, the Media & Publicity to the Hon. Minister Mati Ali says the prayer, which began at 9:00 AM, was led by the Chief Imam of Babura, Malam Salisu Aliyu.
In his sermon, the Chief Imam emphasized the importance of supporting the less privileged in society and maintaining lasting peace in the country.
The Minister congratulated the Muslim Ummah in Nigeria for the peaceful conduct of the Eid prayers.
Joining the Minister in prayer were local government chairmen, members of the State House of Assembly, close associates, and many worshippers.
