Kano State Fire Service has confirmed a fire outbreak at Kano state polytechnic School of Technology Matan Fada Kano.

The Public Relations Officer of the service, Saminu Yusuf Abdullahi, confirmed the incident to newsmen in Kano.

According to him the agency received a distress call from Faisal Dauda that there was a fire incident at School of Technology.

Upon receiving the information, we quickly mobilized a team of fire fighters to the scene to quench the fire“. He said.

Mr Saminu explained that, the building of about 500 x 500ft used as nine classes, and  six offices were completely razed down.

He pointed out that that no live was lost and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
