The Kaduna State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has successfully airlifted over 1,500 intending pilgrims to Saudi Arabia for this year’s Hajj pilgrimage.

Public Relations Officer of the Agency Yunusa Muhammad Abdullahi said the latest batch of 515 pilgrims departed on Max Air, the official carrier for Kaduna pilgrims today.

He said this brings the total number of transported pilgrims to 1,612.

He added that the intending pilgrims of the fourth flight are currently undergoing screening at hajj transit camp, Mando Kaduna and will depart Monday 27th May.
