Kano State government KNSG has sealed off and delisted Palace Clinic Kwanar Ganduje Sharada Kano municipal local government area.

 

Director General of Kano State Private Health Institutions Management Agency PHIMA Professor Salisu Ibrahim disclosed this in Kano.

 

 

Professor Salisu who doubles as Kano State Health disciplinary committee maintained that the clinic was shut down due to certain violations.

 

He explained that the committee investigated for four months to verify complaints received against the health institution.

 

 

The Director General stressed that the committee had several meetings on the issue after receiving 11 petitions against  Palace clinic.

 

 

Professor Salisu pointed out that, the proprietor of the clinic who is also a staff of Iman Wali Urology Center Dr. Kabiru was invited to appear before the committee on several occasions.

 

He highlighted that the disciplinary committee has recommended the delisting of Palace Clinic from the list of hospitals in the state, due to certain violations contravening the law setting up PHIMA.

 

“Part of the recommendations is banning Dr. Kabir from operating or working in private hospitals across Kano and delisting Palace clinic from the list of private  hospitals in the state”he said.

 

 

Radio Nigeria reports that, in April 2024 PHIMA sealed off  Sassauka clinic and diagnosis center Rimin Kebe Kano for several offences.
