The Nigerian Army has re-iterated its commitment towards supporting various technological innovations, with a view to harnessing the proficiency of combat arms.

Chief of Army Staff, Lt General Taoreed Lagbaja gave the assurance at the closing ceremony of the annual Combat Arms Training week(CATWEEK) held at the Jaji Military Cantonment, Kaduna State.

Represented by the Chief of Training at the Army headquarters, Major General Sani Mohammed, the Army Chief said the objectives of this year’s CATWEEK have been achieved in view of the various display of technological innovations.

He acknowledged the inputs made from the various paper presentations, stressing that the recommendations would be implemented accordingly.

The Army Chief assured that areas requiring interventions in this year’s CATWEEK would be considered by the Army headquarters.

General Lagbaja charged other supporting corps to take note from the takeaways of the event for effective service delivery.
